I am learning the patterns for numbers 1-5, and recognise them instantly.

"I learnt to plus numbers.  Nothing was easy for me, and nothing was hard.  I count the number, and then I know it, because I know that 5+5=10.  Mrs Wyatt and my dad helps me with my Maths."

I am learning to identify punctuation.

"I am learning to read and sound out the words.  I know how to say what happens at the beginning and middle and end of the story.  It is hard to read the big words, not 'Kingfisher' because I have read the book before, but it is hard to read the other big words. My Mum helps me at home, and Mrs Wyatt helps me at school sometimes."
